Summary of today's khutbah:
This week, we will reflect on the importance of maintaining unity, forgiveness, and protecting each other’s honour. Islam teaches us to reconcile our differences and avoid gossip and backbiting, which destroy relationships and weaken the Ummah.
Qur’an:
“Do not backbite one another. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would detest it.” (Al-Ḥujurāt 49:12)
Hadith:
“The best of the two is the one who begins with the salam.” (Bukhārī)
