Second Khutbah at 1:45 PM by Imam Mahmodul Hassan
This week’s khutbah will reflect on the verse:
وما كان ربك ليهلك القرى بظلم وأهلها مصلحون
“And your Lord would not destroy the towns unjustly while their people were reformers” (Hud 11:117).
Allah teaches us that a society is protected as long as its people uphold justice and strive for reform. Being personally righteous is not enough; we must also work to remove corruption, support the weak, and promote goodness. True safety and success come when Muslims become reformers, not just worshippers.
