This week’s khutbah will highlight the vital role of ṣuḥbah (companionship) in shaping our faith and character. Allah commands: “O you who believe, fear Allah and be with the truthful” (9:119).
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“A person is upon the religion of his close friend, so let him look carefully whom he befriends” (Tirmidhi).
Good company strengthens iman and leads us to Jannah, while bad company corrupts the heart and pulls us away from Allah. The khutbah will explore how to choose righteous friends and build circles that uplift us spiritually in today’s world.
