Summary of today's Khutbah

In today’s khutbah, we will reflect on how to deal with sins. As human beings, we are not free from mistakes. We should strive to avoid sins, but if we fall into them, we must know how to return to Allah (SWT).

Allah (SWT) says:

إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَاتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّا

“Indeed, Shaytan is an enemy to you, so take him as an enemy.” (Surah Fatir 35:6)

And the Prophet ﷺ said:

كُلُّ بَنِي آدَمَ خَطَّاءٌ، وَخَيْرُ الْخَطَّائِينَ التَّوَّابُونَ

“All the children of Adam are sinners, but the best of sinners are those who repent.” (Tirmidhi)

So in this khutbah, we will reflect on how to deal with sins by turning back to Allah, seeking forgiveness, and remaining hopeful in His mercy.
