Summary of today's Khutbah
Allah said in the Qur’an:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا
“O you who believe, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones.” (Sūrah al-Taḥrīm 66:6)
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
ألآ كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْؤولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ
“Every one of you is a shepherd, and every one of you will be asked about his flock.” (Bukhārī & Muslim)
