2nd Khutbah - 2:25 PM
Summary of today's Khutbah
Ramadan has not come for the perfect. It has come for us.For the ones who fall. For the ones who feel distant.
For the ones who whisper at night:
“Ya Allah… forgive me.”
Allah did not create us to live without mistakes. He created us to return.
From the very beginning, with Adam عليه السلام, Allah showed us the equation of this life:
We fall… We regret… We return… And Allah accepts.
Before humanity even began, Allah taught us that what defines us is not sinlessness — but tawbah. Your repentance is surrounded by His mercy. He allows you to repent. He welcomes you when you repent. And He accepts you after you repent.
So never say: “I will fix myself first, then come back to Allah.” You don’t clean yourself before stepping into the shower. You step in so you can be cleaned.Come back now.
Allah says:
“O My servants who have wronged themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah.”
He still calls us My servants… even after the sin… even after the distance.
Ramadan is the month when the gates of mercy are opened. Not one gate — many.Opened for you. Opened for me. Opened for every heart that wants to return. If we are not forgiven in Ramadan… when will we be?
So return. Return with tears. Return with duʿā’. Return with charity.
Return with a heart that says:
“My Lord, I am back.”
Because we were never meant to be perfect.
We were meant to come back.
Come back — the gates of mercy are open.
