Summary of today's Khutbah
In this khutbah we will reflect on how to balance the dunya and the akhirah in a world that constantly pulls us toward materialism, desire, and endless consumption.
Allah reminds us in the Qur’an:
﴿ وَابْتَغِ فِيمَا آتَاكَ اللَّهُ الدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ وَلَا تَنْسَ نَصِيبَكَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا ﴾
“Seek the Home of the Hereafter with what Allah has given you, but do not forget your share of the worldly life.” (28:77)
Today, we live in a society that pushes us to buy more, want more, and compare ourselves with others.But the believer finds peace by remembering Allah, praying on time, giving charity, caring for family, and keeping the akhirah in mind with every choice.
May Allah help us use the dunya as a path to Jannah,not as a distraction from it.
