Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu dear community members,

The ACT Emergency Services Agency (ESA) Commissioner has declared a Total Fire Ban (TOBAN) for the ACT, effective from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM on Saturday, 10 January 2026.

In light of this declaration, the Canberra Muslim Community (CMC) Executive Committee (EC) kindly requests all community members to strictly comply with the Total Fire Ban conditions. This includes refraining from any activities that may cause or contribute to fire risk.

Your cooperation is essential to ensure the safety, well-being, and protection of our community, properties, and the wider environment. We appreciate your understanding and responsible action during this period.
