Assalamu Alaikum,
The Gungahlin Mosque Food Pantry (GMFP) team will be collecting Qurbani meat donations during Eid al-Adha for families experiencing hardship within our community, Insha’Allah.
Alhamdulillah, the Food Pantry is currently supporting almost 100 families, representing more than 400 family members across Canberra and surrounding areas.
Community members who are performing Qurbani are encouraged to donate a portion of their sacrificed animal meat, including cow, goat or lamb, to assist families in need. Your contribution will help provide essential support and bring relief and joy to many households during this blessed occasion.
This important community initiative continues to operate through the generosity, support and compassion of the community.
