Gungahlin Masjid Fundraising Dinner – A Successful Evening of Community Support

We are pleased to share that the Gungahlin Masjid fundraising dinner was held successfully on 7 February 2026. The event brought our community together for a warm and inspiring evening of fellowship, reflection, and generosity.

We sincerely thank all attendees for their presence and generous contributions, which will support the ongoing development projects. Your support plays a vital role in helping us enhance facilities and services for the growing Muslim community in Canberra.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Minister Suzanne Orr (Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs; Minister for Climate Change; Environment, Energy and Water; and Minister for Disability, Carers, Seniors, Veterans, and Community Services) and opposition representatives Mr James Milligan and Mr Peter Cain for attending and showing their support for our community initiatives.

Special thanks to our distinguished guests, Mufti Zeeyad Ravat (Founder and Director of Daarul Arqam Australia), Sh Adam Konda (Imam of Sabah Al Ahmad), and our Gungahlin Masjid Imams, Dr Hatem Saad and Sh Mahmodul Hassan, for their guidance and participation.

We are also grateful to our community leaders, volunteers, and everyone who worked tirelessly to make the evening a success. May Allah (SWT) bless you all for your generosity and ongoing support.
