Alhamdulillah, the ACT Imams Council has announced that Eid al-Adha 1447H will be celebrated on Wednesday, 27 May 2026.
To accommodate the community, Gungahlin Mosque will hold the following Eid prayer congregations:
Eid Prayer Times – Wednesday, 27 May 2026
- First Jamat - Time: 7:45am
- Second Jamat - Time: 9:45am
We encourage worshippers to arrive early, follow the directions of volunteers, and allow extra time for parking and entry to the mosque.
For Those Following Australian Local Moonsighting
Gungahlin Mosque and the Canberra Muslim Community Executive Committee warmly welcome and support our brothers and sisters who follow Australian local moonsighting.
A separate Eid prayer congregation will be held as follows:
