Pursuant to s 24 of the CMC constitution, the Executive Committee of the Canberra Muslim Community (CMC) Inc. is pleased to invite you to the 2020 Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will InShaa' Allah be held as follows:

Date: Saturday 25 July 2020

Time: 9:30am – 12:00noon
Venue: Gungahlin Masjid, 140 The Valley Avenue, Gungahlin, ACT 2912

Agenda items:

Confirm the minutes of previous AGM (2018-19) held on 13 July 2019;

Report on the activities of the CMC during the 2019-20 financial year;

Financial reports and statements for the 2019-20 financial year; and

Other business.

General meetings – procedure during COVID-19 emergency

In accordance with the recently amended Associations Incorporation Act 1991 (s 70AA) and subject to the Government restrictions applicable at the time, the AGM may need to be held in a combination of both physical and electronic attendance methods. The Executive Committee will continue to monitor the health directions and will provide specific details in writing to all financial members of these arrangements closer to the AGM date InShaa' Allah.
